September 20, 2008 - Today another rescue horse arrives - little Magic, the mini horse. Many of you have followed his story on the forum - well today’s the day DanMan’s ‘mom’ (Ann) brings Magic to Raindance. The Legacy is adoping Magic as part of its commitment to education and outreach. Magic will be visiting schools, youth groups, assisted living facilities and nursing homes. We’ll be sure to post lots of pics and you’re welcome to watch on the farm cams.

September 14, 2008 - The WindChill Legacy, Ltd. & Raindance Farms, LLC welcomes the arrival of Miste. Miste is a 25 year old Tennessee Walking Horse mare. Due to financial problems her owner could no longer afford to take care of her. Her owner had tried to give her away but due to her age and poor condition had no takers. Her owner contacted us to see if we would be willing to take her to prevent her euthanasia, hoping we could restore her to health and find her a retirement home or provide her with one. Her owner felt it would be better to euthanize Miste rather than take a chance on her going to an auction and ending up as a slaughter horse - and we agreed. Thus The WindChill Legacy, Ltd. agreed to take Miste, where she will be a resident at Raindance Farms, LLC until she is restored to good health. If a good retirement home can’t be found for Miste, Kathi and Jeff will officially adopt her and Raindance will become her permanent retirement home.

August 25th - Jeff & Kathi’s one month anniversary - wow we’ve stood the test of time!

July 25th - Kathi and Jeff are getting married!
